FOREST, Va. - For the second-straight week, Skyler Lattuca of the Virginia Wesleyan University men's cross country team was named the Runner of the Week by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC).
After winning the season opener two weekends ago, Lattuca continued to sprint to success. The junior clocked a 25:36.7, which placed him third out of 160 runners (second among collegiate runners). The time was also just over three seconds his personal best time of which he set last season at the Don Cathcart Invite.
Lattuca would pace the team to a seventh place finish as the squad racked up 161 team points.
Men's cross country picks up again on Oct. 5 as the team travels to Salisbury University for the Don Cathcart Invite.
