HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Virginia Wesleyan University volleyball team dropped its match to Bridgewater, 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-18), Tuesday evening on the road. With the loss, the Marlins slide to 10-7 overall and 5-2 in conference play. Bridgewater improves to 16-4 on the year (6-1 ODAC).
The offense was slowed down by the Eagles, only hitting at a clip of .156. Leading the way was Doneisha Hall who registered 10 kills while amassing a hitting percentage of .364. Also pitching in offensively was Megan Wood, who collected a team-high 21 assists.
On the backline, Alyssa Taylor led the team with 12 digs.
Volleyball will return to action at 7 p.m. on Friday as the team hits the road for a battle with ODAC-foe Ferrum.
