Women's Golf Remains In Fifth After Second Round of ODACs

BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. – The Virginia Wesleyan University women's golf team remained in fifth place after Day Two of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championship on Monday played at Bryan Park Champions Course. The Marlins shaved one stroke off their day one score, turning in a team score of 383.

Maggie Kingora has the low scorecard for day two, finishing with an 85 (+12). The junior had her best hole on two as she birdied it. After both rounds, Kingora is currently in 13th.

Hannah Turner was just a pair of strokes behind her teammate, shooting an 87 (+14) on the day. Her two-day total has moved her up one spot into a tie for sixth place overall.

Rounding out the squad was Ashlee Bobzin, who finished day two with a stroke total of 100 and Sarah Conley, who scored a 111. The pair sit at 21st and 28th, respectively.

Women's golf will return to action on Tuesday morning for the final round of the ODAC Championship
