At #1, senior Paul Gladstone (Port Orange, FL) dropped the first set 6-1 but rallied to take the 2nd 6-0.  Allegheny grabbed a 5-3 lead in the match deciding tiebreaker when Gladstone gained traction and clawed his way back to a gritty 10-7 win. With Gladstone's triumph, the Marlins clinched the win.  For good measure junior Andreas Combos (Cary, NC) nabbed a 6-2, 2-6, 10-7 win at #3 singles to put the Marlins up 6-1.
