With the win, the Marlins improve to 11-3 on the season and move to 3-0 in conference play. Randolph slides to 5-5 on the season (1-2 ODAC).

With the victory the Marlins improve to 10-3 overall and 2-0 in conference play. Eastern Mennonite goes to 7-3 on the season (1-1).

The Marlins dropped their first game 3-0 to Washington and Lee before falling by the same score to host Mary Washington. With the day’s results, the Marlins move to 9-3 on the season.

    VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – In her first game as a Marlin, Gabrielle Lindo played the role of hero. With time running down in a 1-1, double-overtime game, Lindo corralled a Rory Donahue throw-in just across the midfield line. She then beat her defender down the sideline before cutting in, angling her way to the top of the 18-yard box. With a defender still on her, the freshman slammed the breaks allowing the defender to bypass her. Now one-on-one with a charging keeper, the freshman calmly chipped a ball over the netminder’s head to earn a victory with just 66 ticks of the clock left.
