VIRGINIA BEACH, Va – The Virginia Wesleyan University women's soccer team has announced its High School Girls Fall ID Camp for 2018. The camp will take place on September 22 and 23 and will be held at Virginia Wesleyan University.
Athletes who attend will be instructed by head women's soccer coach, Jeff Bowers, as well as his staff on the technical and tactical facets of the game. The camp, which features two sessions over the course of the day, are designed to be highly competitive while giving players instruction on everything from shooting and passing skills to formations and situational play. Goalkeepers will receive specialized instruction as well.
The Camps schedule will go as follows:
Saturday, Sept. 22:
4:00pm -5:15: Campus Tour (given by our players- optional)
5:30pm-6:30: Q&A with current members of the team and coaching staff
7:00pm-9:00: Field Session
Sunday, Sept. 23:
10:00am-2:00: Free time
2:00pm-4:00: Virginia Wesleyan University vs Roanoke College
Campers are expected to bring cleats, indoor shoes, water bottle, shin guards and sunblock (balls will be provided).
