Traficante Named Second Team All-Region

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Junior Zoe Traficante was named Second Team All-Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). It is the second straight year she has been named All-South Atlantic Region, garnering third team accolades as a sophomore.

Traficante drew the start in all 21 matches for the Marlins while serving as the center midfielder for Virginia Wesleyan. She helped on both the offensive and defensive end and was instrumental in turning the field for VWC. Both of her goals on the year were game winners as she scored on a penalty kick at Randolph College on September 24 and posted an overtime goal at Bridgewater College on October 19.
