Schallock, Fuller Named Third Team All-ODAC

FOREST, Va. -- Junior Megan Schallock and sophomore Rachel Fuller were recognized on the All-ODAC Third Team as the ODAC announced its annual awards.

Washington and Lee University standout Hayley Soutter and head coach Brooke O'Brien took home two major honors to highlight the 2017 All-ODAC Women's Lacrosse Awards. Soutter earned ODAC Player of the Year laurels while O'Brien was tabbed the ODAC Coach of the Year. Roanoke College midfielder Morgan Barlow received ODAC Rookie of the Year recognition, and Randolph-Macon College defender Kristin Patrick garnered ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete accolades.

This is the third All-ODAC honor for Schallock as she was a first team selection the last two seasons. She led the squad with 35 goals, 11 assists, 46 points, and 77 draw controls. She contributed 36 ground balls as well.

Fuller has been a force since moving to the defensive end of the field this season, earning her first all-conference nod in the process. She scooped 34 ground balls and caused 23 turnovers, while also adding four goals and an assist.
