SALEM, Va. – The #5 Virginia Wesleyan University women’s basketball team fell to fifth-seeded Randolph-Macon, 72-66, in overtime Friday afternoon in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) quarterfinal. With the result, the Marlins end the year with a record of 14-12.
FOREST, Va. – Two members of the Virginia Wesleyan University women’s basketball team were named to the All-Conference Teams by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). Jayla Harris earned a spot on the First Team and was also named the conference’s Player of the Year. Amanda Gerni was named to the Third Team.

With the win, the Marlins will take a record of 14-11 (11-7 ODAC) into the post season. That is good enough for the fifth seed in the ODAC Championship, meaning the team will take on fourth-seeded Randolph-Macon at 3 p.m. on Friday in the Salem Civic Center.
ASHLAND, Va. - The Virginia Wesleyan University women's basketball team fell, 68-62, to Randolph-Macon on the road Tuesday evening. With the result, the Marlins move to 13-11 on the season and go to 10-7 in conference action. Macon improves to 17-7 on the season (12-5 ODAC).
