Field Events Help Pace Track and Field on Day One of ODACs

BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Virginia Wesleyan University the men’s and women’s track and field teams both find themselves in the middle of the pack after day one of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championships at Bridgewater Friday. The women currently sit in fourth place with 24 points while the men occupy fifth place with 14 points.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Four Virginia Wesleyan University student-athletes were recognized by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) for their performances over the week ending on April 8, 2018. Kiersten Richardson garnered Softball Player of the Week honors, Andreas Combos took men’s home tennis Player of the Week honors, Maggie Kingora collected Women’s Golf Player of the Week and Quentin Webert was named the ODAC’s Men’s Field Athlete of the Week.

Track and Field Braves Cold, Turning Out Solid Performances

FREDERICKSBURG, Va - Despite the cold temperatures, the men’s and women’s track and field team turned out some solid marks as the teams were spread across the Colonial Relays at William and Mary University and the Battleground Relays at Mary Washington University.
