Gladstone Named All-ODAC Second Team

FOREST, Va. --- Virginia Wesleyan sophomore was named to the All-ODAC Second Team as the ODAC men's tennis awards were announced on Tuesday.

Washington and Lee University standout Jordan Krasner took home a pair of major honors to highlight the 2017 All-ODAC Men's Tennis Awards. Krasner earned ODAC Player of the Year honors in addition to being selected as the ODAC/Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete. Bridgewater College mentor Jordon Robinson garnered ODAC Coach of the Year honors from his peers, while Guilford College first-year competitor Tate Godwin picked up ODAC Rookie of the Year laurels.

Gladstone had an impressive first year on campus after transferring from the University of Florida. He went 8-8 at No. 1 singles, 6-4 in conference action to earn the all-conference nod at the toughest position. He went on a winning streak down the stretch run of the season, going 6-1 against ODAC competitors from April 11-29.
