Men's Golf Places Ninth at Ted Keller Memorial

ASHLAND, Va. – The Virginia Wesleyan University men's golf team finished out the Day Two of the Ted Keller Memorial Tuesday morning at Hanover Country Club. The team combined for a two-day score of 692 (+124) which placed them in ninth overall.

Cameron MacClelan moved up three spots from yesterday's finish, taking 37th place overall. The freshman turned in a second-day score of an 80 (+9) bettering his first score by three strokes.

Finishing second on the squad was Taylor Cunningham, whose 86 matched the previous day's score. Teammate Jackson Lyons bettered his score by three strokes (87) to claim 49th in the tournament while Tyler Duncan improved 10 strokes (85) to take 50th.

Men's golf returns to action on Monday as the team hosts the Fall Marlin Invite at Sleepy Hole Golf Course in Suffolk Va.
