    LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Virginia Wesleyan University men’s track and field team took home fourth place at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championships over the weekend in Lynchburg, Va. The team scored in 13 different events for a total of 76 points.

    GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Virginia Wesleyan University baseball team split its doubleheader with Guilford Saturday afternoon on the road. The Marlins grinded out a 13-9 win in game one before falling 9-4 in game two. With the results, the Marlins go to 17-13 on the season and 12-7 in conference play.

    VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The No. 1 Virginia Wesleyan University softball team split its twin bill with Ferrum Saturday afternoon at TowneBank Park and Tom & Betty Broyles Field. The Marlins took game one by a score of 5-0 before dropping game two, 1-0.  With the results, the Marlins finish the regular season with a record of 34-3 and 18-2 in conference play.
  • Men's Lacrosse Edges Guilford as Nine Marlins Score

    VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Virginia Wesleyan University men’s lacrosse team defeated Guilford, 12-9, Saturday afternoon at Birdsong Field. With the victory, the Marlins improve to 9-7 on the year and move to 4-5 in conference play. The Quakers fall to 7-8 on the season (1-8 ODAC).

With the loss, the Marlins move to 7-7 on the season and 3-4 in conference action. The Generals improve to 13-2 on the year and remain unbeaten in ODAC play (7-0).

    VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The No. 1 Virginia Wesleyan University softball team took down Shenandoah in a pair of games on Thursday afternoon at TowneBank Park (Tom & Betty Broyles Field). The squad claimed a 9-1 victory in game one before taking the Hornets down 15-3 in game two. With the wins, the Marlins improve to 33-2 on the year and 17-1 in conference.

With the result, the Marlins drop to 8-7 on the season and go to 3-5 in conference play. The Generals improve to 10-4 on the season and remain unbeaten in conference play (7-0).

Perry Field to complete the season sweep of the Yellow Jackets. With the win, the Marlins improve to 16-12 on the season and 11-6 in conference action. Randolph-Macon goes to 17-7-1 on the year (12-4-1).

    WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Wesleyan University men’s golf team took fifth at the Glenn Heath Memorial on Tuesday played at Williamsburg Golf Club. The Marlins shot a team total of 318 on day one before rounding out day two with a total of 326 for a two-day score of 644.
